Hello there and happy Wednesday to you! We are starting to go through all of our RV stuff since getting back from our long trip back in January! Eeeesh! We’ve been putting it off but now that the weather is breaking a little here in NC, there’s no excuse not to get it done. Once the camper is clean, we can start to organize it again to get it ready for another camping season! Whoohoo!

So, I have to admit, we haven’t had any bad dump station encounters or traumatizing poop stories to tell you from our time RVing. Maybe it’s luck? Maybe it’s preparation? Maybe it’s both? But either way, what I do know is heading to the dump station is probably the least favorite part for any RV owner out there. Since we HAVE to do it, might as well make it as organized, clean, and as seamless of a process as possible. You guys! It dawned on me that our family has now been using Instacart and getting our groceries delivered at our home for a full year!…and let me tell you, I don’t think we will ever NOT use an online grocery service from here on out. I think I even have the hubs hooked! We are both obsessed with using Instacart not only for the hassle and time savings, but we found that we actually started saving money. Yes, you read that right! We started S.A.V.I.N.G. money! Instacart for us means more homemade meals, less food waste, more money in our pockets and more time spent on stuff we need or want to be doing each week like RVing and spending time with family.
There is not much to say about Kerr Lake. Only one word comes to mind and it’s….. AH .MAY. ZING! This is just about the only word that describes our experience on this lake in North Carolina so far. This trip was the 4th campground we have stayed at on Kerr Lake out of 6…and it definitely did not disappoint! I think we actually decided J.C. Cooper Campground at Kerr Lake is on the top of the list when it comes to campsites we love! Give us 3 things- clean sites, lake side, and awesome camping weather- and we call that one perfect weekend!
Now that we have been in our camper for a few months, we have gotten to the point where we wanted to make it functional, cozy, and well organized. We were so tired of the paper towel rolls being shoved into and out of the cabinet. They were taking up space inside the cabinet during travel. They were also hanging out on our small dining table and had an tendency to be knocked off and roll everywhere. Super annoying… It was time they needed a permanent home!
